What this site is
An informational website about Building 28 and the software it publishes. Nothing here is an offer, a contract, a warranty, or professional advice. We may change, move, or remove any part of it at any time without notice.
Where this site is directed
This website and the software we publish are directed to users in the United States. We do not offer, market, or distribute our applications in the European Union or the European Economic Area, and nothing on this site should be read as making them available there.

Content and marks
Except where otherwise noted, Building 28, a registered assumed name of Bytecraft, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, owns the copyright and other applicable rights in the original content, design, and code of this website to the extent those rights exist under applicable law.
Building 28 and its associated branding are used by Bytecraft, LLC as identifiers of its business and services. Nothing in these Terms grants permission to use the Building 28 name, logo, or other branding in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation where none exists.
Typefaces used on this site are third-party works licensed under the SIL Open Font License and remain subject to their respective licenses.
Syng
Syng is a separate software project with its own licensing terms. Use of the Syng name, software, and related material is governed by the applicable Syng license and notices. The terms in this document are not the license for the Syng software. Syng’s source code is released under the GNU General Public License Version 3 and other licenses specified in the Syng GitHub repository. Your rights in the software come from those licenses rather than from this page. If you obtained Syng through an app store, that store’s terms also apply to your download.

This website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Bytecraft, LLC and Building 28 will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or this website must be brought exclusively in the state courts of Michigan or, where federal jurisdiction exists, the federal courts located in Michigan. You consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

We may revise these terms. The revised version will be published here with an updated date, and it applies to your use of the site from that date forward.
