Building 28 is a registered assumed name of Bytecraft, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company.

Syng

Building 28 distributes Syng under license. Syng is a separate software project and is not owned by Building 28. The software and related materials remain subject to their applicable licenses and notices.

The license files for Syng are in the repository: the GNU General Public License version 3 only (GPL-3.0-only), and an App Store distribution exception that grants additional permission under section 7 of the GPL for distribution through qualifying application stores. The exception does not reduce recipients’ rights under the GPL and does not grant rights in third-party components.

Third-party software, data, fonts, and other materials included with Syng remain governed by their own notices. Those are listed in the application’s Acknowledgements screen and in the repository.

Typefaces

This site sets type in Geist, Newsreader, and Iosevka. All three are licensed under the SIL Open Font License, version 1.1, which allows them to be embedded and served from this site. Geist is copyright the Geist Project Authors. Newsreader is copyright the Newsreader Project Authors. Iosevka is copyright Renzhi Li, and is used here as a subset of Iosevka Fixed. All three are self-hosted, so no request for them leaves this domain, and their full notices are published alongside them: Geist, Newsreader, Iosevka.

Other names

Product, company, and platform names on this site, including the names of app stores and operating systems, are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to refer to those products.
